how does freecycle work??

i cant find anything! it just brings up internet web sites for shops?

Freecycle is a yahoo group. Sign up to a yahoo account (it's free and includes email) and search for your local freecycle group.

we use it all the time to give stuff away and to get stuff we need. it is fab - you post a message saying what you are offering and people respond. you choose who to give it to. if you want something you post a wanted message and find out who has what you want! it's easy free and very friendly!our local group makes you post some stuff before you can ask for stuff but that's fair enough. can't praise it highly enough

You need to register with your local site, mine's a yahoo group so needs a yahoo email account I think. Once you're registered you can search through the messages for specific item or get a dailey digest of all the offers/wanted messages.
