DS and his badge [smile]

DS has spent a long time today making a badge.

He wanted me to tell all the mumsnetters about his badge because he and we are so proud of it and of him

It is a MILLENNIUM SYMBOL BADGE. He has painted it gold.

It is unique {there is only one in the universe}

He has dictated the last 2 lines while I am typing.

Sounds fab, how old is he?

9½ years.

He has being making it most of the day,

he designed the picture and the shape of the badge on paper then onto cardboard,

after it was cut out he painted it gold.

He then went over the design of the EYE again with black pen.

To make it into a badge he stuck a saftey pin on the back with sellotape.

Kangaboy, I'm sorry I can't see your badge, because my computer won't link. Your mum sounds great, so do you and she must be very proud of you. My little girl is 9 and she draws all time. Perhaps we could have a new thread, Tech, with our kid's drawings on it? Obviously care re names etc but I would be really proud for everyone to see my H.... artwork. She's great at cartoons and will hopefully be brilliant at art and keep me in my old age! (Anyone remember the Tony Hart, Vision On, Gallery Well, let's do the Mumsnet one..?!

Yes I do remember vision On with tony hart. DS watches art attack and smart each week they have morph and chez on there.
