where i work all holidays must be honoured. is he a member of any trade union? they may have reps to help

yoyo · 08/11/2004 17:30

I would think it depends on his contract. Is he working on his old one or have they issued a new one? Some people might have bought and paid for holidays abroad so can't see how they could impose this on them. Don't know legal situation though.

yes probably ethically they should honour it .. but tbh they don't 'have' to do anything of the sort as holidays should be in agreement

I would recommend Helsi's DH approaching new management team very pleasantly and putting forward his case, completely appreciating that it might be difficult for them but stressing he already has commitments on those dates
