Computer prob....HELP

Right my friend cannot get on any secure pages, and is being told that the page cannot be accessed and to check her browser settings.

She like me is a computer idiot and hasn't a clue how to check the browser settings nevermind anything else.

HELP

could be something to do with the anti virus software she has? will ask dp in morning and see if he can advize?
would assume it would be in 'mycomputor' or 'network settings'???

sounded as if i knew what i was talking about there didnt i? from she who nearly blew up the computer when trying to install it(no patience) with dd running around, mother lurking and friends chatting to me!
will never live that down! took dp weeks to sort out!wwooops

Sounds like it's her Internet security settings. If using Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options, then Security. She probably has it set to high - she can change it to medium and see if that helps.
