Half the class outside heads office!

Last week I had a meeting with the school and child phsy concerning my ds behaviour at school, to my surprise there were half of his class facing the wall outside the head's office. My ds was not among them, makes a change! The girls were crying and the head asked why they were all there. Because they didn't line up properly, they are only six years old.
Do you think this was wrong? Only i was surprised but such an extreme measure and is this not going too far. Love to hear all your views. Larsxx

OMG, that's disgusting. That is mental abuse, FGS they are only six?! I wonder if the parents were told, because as a mum, if my child had been crying at school, for whatever reason, I would want to know!

No, don't like the sound of that at all .

If there was a big behaviour issue within a class or year group, we'd get the class together and the Head would come and talk to all the children, firmly but gently.

Can't bear the idea of 6 year olds being lined up outside the headteacher's office, facing the wall.

What on earth had happened?

Well, I can't wait to see the child pshy and see what he has to say on this, as he observe it all as well. The reason he was there is to find out if this is the right school for my ds.
I'm glad i'm not alone on my thoughts here as I do feel that I'm very anti school at the moment.
