So I started my own little venture during lockdown and I’m so excited about it. I have been asked to do local village fairs and have been accepted to do a large county fair which is fantastic news and awareness for my brand. However, I am unsure of how much stock to order - I would hate to run out straight away but don’t want to be left with loads either. I can of course, sell these on my website afterwards so I would rather have a little more than not enough but still unsure of how many to order/take in advance. Anybody hard/fast rule or anyone with experience they could share with me please? Thank you

You need plenty of stock.
A half empty table/stand/stall looks do miserable when you are walking around these places as a customer.
As a customer It makes you feel the brand/maker is vibrant and confident in their own products if there is plenty of stock on display and round the back.
You do have to take a punt on yourself, I understand it's all money, but you gave to believe in your product and make the investment otherwise how do you expect others too?
