have just been listening to the adaptation of "how does she do it" on r4. against all my inclinations, i found it really funny - it has made me laugh out loud!
normally really, really dislike things like this as they always seem to make working mothers sound so utterly, utterly incompetent - more ammo for male/childless colleagues in the office who think you shouldn't be there anyway...
i could really relate to some of the things - the endless to do lists at the end of the day, when do mothers get over separation anxiety, stressing out over the tellytubbies b'day cake... city job thing is overdone, though, imo, but hey! will she have an affair with her glamorous american client - hope not.
may well buy the book now!
