Hello
My dd (3.7)walked smack bang into a wrought iron chair about a week ago and for a while there was a dint in her nose then it swelled up. I took her to A+E and the head nurse was great and explained that it couldn't be broken and is highly unlikely that she's damaged the cartilidge(sp) but made her a follow up app for tomorrow as it's routine.
She said if all was well just cancel it.
SO, dd is fine, only a tiny mark left, would you cancel or still go????????????

Would it be a major inconvenience for you to go, or just a quick drive not interrupting the rest of your day?

If it wasn't a big deal to go I would probably go.

Angeliz · 01/11/2004 14:45

Last time it took about an hour to park and it would take two buses either way on public transport!..........still undecided!!!

If you are at all concerned, then go. If everything is fine then cancel.

KateandtheGirls · 01/11/2004 14:49

In that case, and if I wasn't too worried which you don't sound to be, then I probably wouldn't bother.

Kayleigh · 01/11/2004 14:49

Have had this happen twice. Once with ds1 and once with ds2. Both times thay were ok by follow up appointment and I cancelled.

If you are sure she is fine then cancel.

What happened Angeliz?

Angeliz · 03/11/2004 20:57

Kateandthegirls, i rang and cancelled,(feel a little guilty as m a terrible worrier but she is fine!). I just thought it was her first day back at School that afternoon, parking is a nightmare and it would waste our and their time!
Thanks for asking

I'd go because I worry so much. i actually take the bus to our local A&E because it's impossible to park there or more correctly I'm incapable of parking there.

KateandtheGirls · 04/11/2004 00:47

I'm glad she's fine!
