I made my DD do it as she passed her driving test only 5 weeks after her 17th birthday last year. It was very good, she drove round the M25 at 9.00pm to Heathrow and back in the rain.

She also did country roads, narrow lanes and all sorts, multi storey car parks, different types of parking and it was well worth it.

DS is going to do his as he also passed in 6 weeks after his 17th birthday this year, so I think they need the extra tuition to make them more aware and competent.

They both have their own cars and I got 20% off DD's insurance when I put it in her own name. So now she has 30% no claims after a year.
