Switching away from economy 7

Just been thinking about our electricity and wondering if we have to stick with economy 7 or if we can have normal without having to change our meter? We used to have storage heaters but they have all gone now. Hot water is done via solid fuel so its just appliances and lightling etc. We try to put the dishwasher on at bedtime but really there is no reason to be on economy 7 any more - wouldn't it be cheaper for us to be on normal rate?

But I'm a bit brain dead this morning and can't find any site which will actually allow me to work it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Actually just discovered my neighbour is on something called economy 10. Are there any other tarrifs I don't know about out there. Mind you he had to change his meter. Come to think of it would be good to get rid of our meter but don't really want to have to pay. Our neighbours meters were replaced anyway recently. Is there any way I can find out when ours are due to be replaced?
