When dd (almost 4) goes to play at friend's houses, the item that many seem to have that always excites her is a small indoor trampoline. We don't have room for one here, but if we did, that's something I'd seriously consider getting her. No idea how much they cost though.......

jampot · 31/10/2004 13:56

what about a kitchen?

blossomhill · 31/10/2004 14:00

I got a really good trampoline for dd for her birthday

It is quite pricy at £70 though

trampoline

I know it says out of stock but it said that when I wanted one and when I went to the shop it was in stock. I just remember you saying that your dd was into gymnastics, like my dd!

blossomhill · 31/10/2004 14:02

How about this
lovely princess tent

misdee · 31/10/2004 14:05

kitchen is too big really. we dont have much in the way of storgae for indoor toys. she does have a microwave, cook etc at MIL place in their playhouse.

What do you get the girl that has everything?
Dressing up clothes, leap pad is good. I am getting my dd a leap star as her main present as I think like your dd she has just about everything!

misdee · 31/10/2004 14:15

yup i admit it she has everything. and its not all down to me. in-laws have bought loads for my dd's as only grandchildren atm.

have boxes of dressing up outfits too.

was considering leap-pad stuff but wondering if will be a 5 minute wonder with dd1 as she isnt really into electronic toys etc as tends to use imagination a lot. (right now they are in the living room pretending to me me ??!!??)

here it is, I just know my dd will love it as she is mad on Dora!

misdee · 31/10/2004 18:46

dd1 has fiddled with the leap pad stuff in the toy shop but said it was boring tho. that was a year or so ago.

this is driving me mad. how can she have everything she wants?

she mentioed she wanted my little pony for xmas, do they still do all the accessories etc for them?

There's a My Little Pony castle in Argos (a snip at £50), and a bucket in Woolies with 3 ponies and accessories for £12.99. Sad me for knowing

misdee · 31/10/2004 18:50

do they still do the roller skates that strap onto their shoes?

Sometimes the simple presents are best. One years we bought dd a fairy dress and she has worn it most days since. It is now a bit old and worn and I am considering buying her another one. She would be ahppier with that than with many expensive toys (just as well really). Ds1 and 2 got Star Wars costumes the same year and they were very popular with them for about a year.

misdee · 31/10/2004 19:05

i do just want something small ish that she wil enjoy.

something nice from Playmobil? they do all sorts of good stuff - castles, pirate ships, zoos, etc

LIZS · 31/10/2004 19:31

Disney Princess playset, dressing up accessories (beads etc), craft stuff, scooter or roller skates (you can get Fisher Price or Chicco strap ons still I think or these at Toys r Us ) and all the safety gear.

My dd has just spent the last 2 days playing with ds birthday present. she is 3 and half. A click clack toy from ELC. Kept her occupied all weekend.
