BT 1471 voice change

I rang BT's 1471 service today to find out who rang me. The usual voice was replaced by a completely different, informal one. As I know that scammers are able to keep the line open after you have put down the receiver, this worried me a bit because I get some scam callers. Has the BT voice really changed? I looked at BT website but can't see anything relevant there.

'The original voice was part of my formative years calling up to get my student overdraft extended, and she was also the BT 1471 voice. Ha! 1471!! I do hope she's alright.
