Hi All - I am looking to move to Ilkley from the East - I have visited several times and it seems lovely. I will be moving up as a newly single mum of 3 so a bit nervous about meeting new people as not part of a couple. So just wonder if anyone could advise if it is a friendly/community focused/easy to meet people? Also question about schools - my daughter will be Year 5/6 so it seems like there are great school options. My son is 13 so going into Year 9 in Sept - just wondered if anyone can advise if he is likely to get a place at Ilkley Grammar School as understand it is very oversubscribed but not sure what other options there are (plus it looks fab!)... many thanks
