Clarks are crap at fitting. try an independant shop or Russell and Bromley.

imo startrite is a smaller fitting that clarks.

Your post deosn't make sense though so can't answer your question...!

startrite come up bigger than clarks,.
ds is a 7 in startrite but an 8 in clarks

Clarks 3.5 would be a 2.5/3 Startrite. The widths vary more though so not sure if there is a direct comparison. Would n't it be easier to just have her remeasured on their own scale ?

crokky · 06/11/2007 21:40

I would think your 3.5 as measured in Clarks would be a 3 in Startrite. I am not totally sure though, was told this in a shoe shop.

shhhh · 06/11/2007 21:44

was going to say as well..get remeasured in startrite shop...

...yes think it will be better to take her in and be measured but i hate shoe shoping especially with 2 little ones in tow so was hoping to buy them in my lunchbreak when child free!!!
SHHHH - For some reason I though someone before had said that startrite were a size different from clarkes but couldn't remember which way!!!! SOrry, knew what I was trying to say in my head!!!!
