Help - ideas for a present to say thankyou

A guy at work who I don't know very well has just (very kindly) given me a big bag of lovely baby clothes that belonged to his children. I want to get him a gift to say thankyou - any ideas? I want to show that I really appreciate it. I'm not sure about the budget - don't want to look cheap, though.

send him a card and a piccie of your new baby in one of the outfits when he/she is born

How about a nice bottle of wine or whisky? or a crate of beer? Those are usually pretty good bloke thank you gifts!
