I'd like to start with Laura Ashley, what a crap website. No store locator that I can find, no ready made curtains on the site that they have in the store. You have to keep scrolling down to look at anything.

Oh and the Selfridges site, how small does it all need to get? How boring too.

John Lewis - simply because practically everything I look at says "not available to buy online." Ditto Argos.

What's the point in having a website if you can't buy from their full range of stock on it?

captainCOD · 28/10/2004 19:46

next
no search

nasa · 28/10/2004 19:50

that is so true mathamoo- about john lewis and argos

Bellie · 28/10/2004 19:52

House of Fraser - can't buy anything on line!!

JoolsToo · 28/10/2004 19:53

Bellie - ditto for BHS

JoolsToo · 28/10/2004 19:54

SHR - Laura Ahsley's models look anorexic too! - all pale and pasty.

SecondhandRose · 28/10/2004 20:07

Why on earth you can't buy Tesco's Cherokee range on line I don't know. Obviously being no 1 supermarket has gone to their heads.

Laura ashley - really unreal looking models - can't image wearing the clothes. M&S - typed in red cardigan and got alot of other non cardigan items plus cardigans that aren't available in red. Time wasting.

hunkermunker · 29/10/2004 00:17

Ikea - they list their stuff with their stupid trop trig harken tybing snott klang names and you can't buy from the site. OK, so they list their stuff in a more logical way too, but I wanted to play make up Ikea names.

did you ever see the Viz cartoon about Ikea - you can just imagine the sorts of names they came up with

jampot · 29/10/2004 00:27

I would nominate Ripples bathrooms as their site is purely a franchise recruitment site with ZERO web presence. in fact i suspect if i were to go type ripples bathrooms into my browser now, this comversation would come up before the company site.

jampot · 29/10/2004 00:31

i take it back - they've obviously enlisted the help of someone!

linniewith2 · 29/10/2004 00:39

I nominate this found by mamamoo and posted on the help me chose thread.

hester · 29/10/2004 10:01

Don't do this to me - I'm CRYING with laughter in an open-plan office! I particularly love the descriptions of stunned-looking women standing on swirly carpet in velour tracksuits as 'fashionable' and 'very classy'. I'm going away now; can't afford to wet myself in front of my colleagues

KateandtheGirls · 29/10/2004 11:50

Worth every penny.
