Fly tipping - what would you do

Someone dumped a black bin bag filled with bottles and rubbish next to my general waste bin which is by the entrance to my driveway. Obviously, the bin men collected the contents of my bin, and left that black bin bag, rightly so, as #1 bins shouldn't overfill with bags left on the ground #2 it is not recycling week. I didnt notice that bag until after the bin men had been and I went to collect my bin. I don't know who did it. I live on a street of semi-detached and terrace houses, each has a bin to their own. This has never happened before. Previously, neighbours who ran out of bin space would politely ask and we would happily comply. What would you do? Fly tip it too? Suck it up and sort the rubbish? Report it? Knock on neighbours door?

Just want to get a general feel of people's responses before I do anything. The rubbish is still out there.

Wankers. Angry People like this make me so cross.

Unfortunately I'm not sure there's much you can do. Maybe speak to neighbours in case it isn't an isolated incident? Put a post on local SM to shame them and warn others?

But yep, that's crap behaviour.

Report to the Council as fly-tipping. THey should come and collect it.

Yes, very poor behaviour indeed. Didn't know I could do that, Seeline. Will look into it, thanks. Bin bag is still left out there on public path, I know it isn't nice and an eye sore but I can't be bothered to sort other people's trash out, let alone in a lockdown.
