Happily lurking on MN when a thud at my window made me jump out of my skin. IVE BEEN EGGED!! Grrrrr, little bastards!

Im on my own tonight so dont relish the thought of going out there to clean it but is it going to be a total nightmare to get off tomorrow morning?

Wait half an hour, prepare some washing up liquid and hot water and throw it at the window. That'll sort it.

Two years ago I drove tjhrough our village on the school run on Nov 1st with a massive fluorescent pink willy sparyed on the side of my car . I didn't see it until I got to the school car park.

We got egged tonight too; I've washed it off already as well.

I did log it with the police (local number not 999) just so they know what problems there are, even though it wasn't a 'major' problem' iyswim.

Personally I know I'd be cross tomorrow if it said in the paper that it had been a very peaceful eve with no probs reported whatsoever if I hadn't bothered to report it.

They said the phones had been very busy, lots of reports of problems across the county, and all the cars were out keeping an eye on things, and checking specific reported areas for problems.

It has been quiet here since then.

On the plus side, it's easier to get eggs off windows than off bricks or render. It would be a good idea to make a start on the cleanup tonight. At least it is not going to freeze.
