Personally I would do the following.
Paint the whole face white, or do a spiders web in white with a thin brush.
Then use the nose as the main body part and paint that black, and around the nose in a circle. Then paint another circle in black between the eyebrows/forehead. Make sure you join the body together by painting the bridge of the nose black.
Paint 2 antenee on the forehead, and eight legs from the bottom part of the body. ie 2 under the nose, and 2 round the mouth, then 2 more on each cheek.
How does that sound??
