I've been to Finland and Norway with work and really enjoyed both and the people so would perceive positively

My brother-in-law did used to live in one of the villages where they filmed Midsummer Murders - they unaccountably failed to film in the bit with the bog-standard semi-detached boring houses though

This one is rather negative so sorry to all who is doesnt apply to, but dp says scandinavians are rude by nature. They dont want to or have any interest in talking to strangers and can completey blank each other even when spoken to. Ive seen a few people say that but ive not yet been there so cant say for definite so i hope its not true.

I am Scandinavian but neither tall nor blond and absolutely not into nudity. Where does the nudity come from? Is that not the Germans? 😂

Norwegians are the friendliest, funniest, and warmest and also the most outdoorsy/down to earth.
Swedes are a bit cool. Nice enough. Heavy drinkers. Chic.
Finns are rather quiet. Heavy drinkers. Pragmatic. A bit serious. I think this may be the 'Russian Occupation' effect. Down to earth.
Danes are mad and warm. Smokers.

Those are my very vague preconceived opinions.

If I could live anywhere, I'd live in Bergen, Norway.

Nudity comes from them having historically seen Summer with Monika by Ingmar Bergman in the 50s, and then a lot of porn from Denmark in the 70s.

Gave the impression everyone was sexually liberated and wandering around naked.

My memory is that my Danish family were happy being naked around each other in a way that my English family were not, but the nudist beaches were 'for the Germans'.
