Dh is best man at his brother's wedding in November. He is in complete denial about having to do a speech. No, tell a lie - he has asked around at work and told me about a speech which involved the BM prepping all the male guests at the wedding with keys beforehand. He then gave his speech along the lines of "Bride used to be a bit of a goer, nice to see she's calmed down, I think it's time I returned her house key..does anyone else have one they'd like to give her back?" Cue for all men at wedding to produce keys. Have persuaded dh that this is probably not the way to go with his brother's bride to be.
So, in the spirit of wifely helpfulness, I'm throwing it open to MNers...one line each?
I can't even think of an opening line...
