What of it, Enid?

moomina · 25/10/2004 21:38

Well, I hope it hasn't swollen up. You won't be able to pull your socks up if it has, will you?

Enid · 25/10/2004 21:39

actually I havent, but a bloke in a white van did reverse into my car today and smash my front headlight and cracked my bumper and both dds were scared.

so i've had to have half a bottle of wine

No wonder so many people are leaving mumsnet lately

Enid · 25/10/2004 21:41

aw sweet pixiefish - they were scared, bless them. dd1 said to dh tonight 'mummy said a bad word' - as I cringed inwardly she said 'she called the man an idiot!'

phew.

hercules · 25/10/2004 21:44

I'll sell my house to pay for any surgery needed.

Enid · 25/10/2004 21:44

he was quite sweet - the van driver, prob barely 20 - he'd had a bad day he said, poor lamb.

no the worst was being taken aside by my old childminder and told that whenever dd1 dropped anything she said 'Bollocks!' - she was 2 and a bit.

Its not even a nice sounding word

OP posts:
Twiglett · 25/10/2004 21:48

ahhh .. that's how DS got his imaginary friend .. called Buddah

its one of the few words that sounds remarkably like bugger .. which I was calling my mother on the phone about 10 mins before DS started running round the house shouting 'bugger, bugger'

pixiefish · 25/10/2004 21:49

Twiglett-

Enid · 25/10/2004 21:54
