I had suspicions my partner was doing something he shouldn't (not cheating)
So I hid a camera and caught him in the act.
I can't be with him now I know but I'm scared to tell him about the video. He won't let me break up with him.

Breaking up is entirely your decision if that's what you want, he can't 'not let you'. I hope you have some real life support to escape; can you go to a friend or relative? (Allowed in T4)

I see this is from a month ago, I hope you're ok. You don't need his permission to break up with him. You have the right to end any relationship for any reason you choose. "I want to" is enough of a reason. The other person doesn't have to like it or agree to it, you just do it anyway.

If you need to make plans to leave secretly then do that and leave one day while he's out. You can contact Women's Aid for advice and help. The fact you feel that he'll try to physically or psychologically prevent you from leaving the relationship means it is an abusive relationship.

If he did something illegal you could give the video to the police and ask for their help in getting rid of him. They might be able to put conditions on him like not going near you at all or him having to live elsewhere.
