yucky cleaning question - stained loo seat

My loo gets cleaned very regularly and mostly sparkles, but the underside of the loo seat is stained yellow at the front, where the toilet training loo seat has been used.

I have tried lots of things, normal loo cleaner, neat bleach, bicarbonate of soda. It is quite an expensive toilet and I am worried the plastic is too porous or something and that it might cost a fortune to replace the seat.

Any cleaning tips pretty please.

Have you tried mixing the bicarbonate of soda with some lemon juice to make it into a paste? Leave the paste on for a couple of hours, or longer if you can, then scrub it off.

just did bicarb paste on its own, but will try with lemon juice. many thanks
