MIL moan!

We went out to a restaurant yesterday with DD 5.9 and DS 2.7, while I had to chase DS around the restaurant towards the end of the meal, take him to the toilet over and over again, keep him entertained and while my SIL had to try and feed her DS 0.6, while trying to feed herself, keep him amused, attempt to rock him to sleep, all my MIL could say was, I think you expect too much from them, I mean they are only X old, they were really good I think. Well, she would think that because it didn't interfere with her drinking her wine did it! Sorry, just needed to moan about it as she really wound me up. I said I won't be taking DS to a restuarant until he is a bit older, her response 'you need to learn to relax!
Why should we go to a restaurant when it was clear me and SIL didn't enjoy the experience at all.

Because mil is too lazy to cook for so many if she's anything like my mil who cooks the weeks meal on a Sunday and plates them all up ready to be reheated in the microwave throughout the week. Yuck.

My mil and fil once took us all out for a meal the whole family to celebrate something. I think there were 8 of us. It was before children. We all had a Sunday roast then dh asked if I wanted desert. Fil pipes up I said I was bringing you for f*king dinner and that's what I've done. If you want f*king more buy it yourself, so we did. Charming aren't they my in laws?? A cross detween Wayne and Waynetta slob and the Osbournes!!!
