Hello all, does anyone know where I can get hold of the rabbit (?) clocks that keeps it's eyes shut until it is time to get up? Getting fed up with ds1 coming in at 5.30 and refusing to go back to bed because it's getting lighter out. He ends up climbing in with us and it's a bit of a squeeze. Thanks in advance.

Great Little trading co. I think. Also I think Argos do a Winnie thr Pooh version?

Or you can improvise with a radio alarm clock, set it to play soft music at 7 or whenever and tell him he can't get out of bed until the music is playing.

Apparently those bunny clocks break the entire time which is why lots of people have stopped selling them.

I must admit I also just use a normal alarm clock that has a fairly loud beep (& ds is very good he knows not to come out of his room until he hears the beep..i often hear him awake earlier but he just plays till he hears the BEEP BEEp - then he shouts out....GOOD MORNING MUMMY TIME TO GET UP!

however, i now have to leave it on the table on the landing because ds realised that if he turned the dial at the back enough times it made the BEEP BEEP come on.

Also the toy shop Tridias do them.

Rhiannon · 27/09/2002 16:09

A couple of years ago John Lewis did them in Brent Cross. R

considering the earlier discussion about an Anne Summer's recall I am so glad that you made it clear that you were on about a clock.

lou33 · 28/09/2002 18:31

That's CLOCK I assume you mean Willow2 - not a misspelling is it?!
I think I might have to go and check out this other thread now!

Anyone know where I can get one of those plug-in nightlights? I've tried Argos, Littlewoods, T J Hughes and so on but no-one seems to stock them anymore!

SoupDragon · 30/09/2002 14:09

The ones that look like plugs? how about Woolworths?

ionesmum · 30/09/2002 19:22

Rhubarb, we got ours mail-order from Babies R Us. I think they have a website.

trudles · 30/09/2002 20:23

boots are doing them now as well

Rhubarb · 30/09/2002 20:26

Thanks, I'll try all of those!

Ghosty · 30/09/2002 20:51

Re: bunny clock. We got one from the Great Little Trading Co. catalogue about 5 months ago.

Re: Plug I am sure that we got ours from Mothercare, but I can't really remember ...

lou33 · 01/10/2002 08:57

Got a bunny clock in the end from Memorise this.com, the other places seem to have stopped selling them, but thanks for all your help!

Rhubarb - Argos DO do them - I bought one last week and they are in the online catalogue here

If link brings up a blank page type 'nightlight' into search box - they are at bottom of page

Rhubarb · 01/10/2002 15:13

Thanks Snugs, I wonder why they are not in the catalogues then?

ionesmum · 01/10/2002 21:34

Rhubarb, I happened to be looking at the Argos cat. tonight and teh nightlights are in with the home security lighting. (?)
