how did you become a doula??

hi,

myself and a friend are looking into becoming doulas and we were wondering how you did it, who you used for your training, what you thought of it etc......

I did the Paramana doula course and then bribed was asked by my best friend to be her doula. I've still only done one birth as its a bit tricky to combine with being a single parent and not driving.

The training was fantastic, really inspiring and confidence-building.
