I've been thinking about how in the last 60 years, women have gotten a lot of rights (at least in the Western World). At one time, women were looked as odd for wearing pants, now no one looks twice.
Meanwhile men have remained relatively restricted in expected gender roles/presentation. Many men fear wearing feminine clothes for fear of looking gay. I have a male friend who wears yoga pants and makeup and definitely gets some odd looks.
Will this ever change?
Interestingly, It seems that in dating, feminine men have a worse time than masculine women. People have a right to preferences but I find it interesting that being feminine can really kill a man's chances.
