Help, I have managed to flush DS' Bob the Builder underpants down our loo (by mistake), is there a practical Wendy out there who can tell me if this is likely to cause a big problem? Scared to flush loo.

sorry, i know it's no laughing matter, but HAHA!!!!

Oh no , no real expert but I think you will find it's okay, just flush and see!

I did this the other day with the cloth Id used to wash my dd bum and have no probs. Think it depends on what your drains are like tho.

I can't believe I did something so silly, they're his favourite pants too!

It could easily cause a blockage. Get some marigolds on and grab now. Much nicer than the drains.

I tried that but they've gone past u-bend. Then he did a poo and I flushed that, then a wee, it went OK. Do you think that means I am safe. Imagining flushing and then loads of poo floating back into loo!!!!!

they're only little pants, i'm sure they will have flushed ok!

I don't know if this is in any way related to trauma of Bob down loo, but today DS managed to do his first ever poo whilst sitting on an adult toilet seat!

Arabica ! Oh dear - I can just see the next Bob The Builder Story "Bob and the Soggy Pants" - can we flush it - yes we can !

Well done to your DS by the way ! But I hope he doesn't match the experience of a poo on a toliet with loosing his favourite pants though !!

ds1 went through a stage of flushing everything down the loo for a while in the summer (until we blocked the toilets off- acutally not quite everything as he was pooing on the floor at the time). The upstairs toilet was fine- straight out to the drains- haven't had any problems. No idea what went down there. The downstairs toilet is a small bore one- one of the ones that mashes everything up. He completely blocked the motor. My dad took it apart for us (the most revolting job I have ever seen) and we found a pair of his pants, a pair of dh's pants, a flannel a felt tip pen and some bath toys.

LOL Jimjams! I wonder if I would find my sex drive down loo it I fully investigated. I certainly seem to have lost that somewhere! Anyway it's too late for plunger Codswallop. I would have to swim down a la Trainspotting. But I think we are going to be fine. Cos I am sure if drain was blocked it would have blocked by now (about 10 flushes later)...wouldn't it????
