Lol you guys must think Im really stupid by now with me keeping asking stupid/simple questions

I want to wash my car and my mum brought me a halford car wash kit. Contains:

Polish applicator pad
Car wash sponge
Yellow duster
Synthetic chamois
Bug and Tar remover
Natural chamois demister pad
Polishing cloth 100g
Advanced car wash sachet 75ml

There are two things that doesnt say what they are and its either the bug and tar remover or the synthetic chamois. How do I tell which is which? One's a sponge type thing, and the other is a cloth with little holes in which Im presuming is the synthetic chamois, but want to double check.

Also what do I use the different things for? I dont have any polish for the car so wont be needing the polish things. I know how to use the car wash, sponge, duster, and the demister pad is for the inside windows right? But what are the chamois for? Thanks from a not-so-smart tammybear xxx

The synthetic chamois will be the cloth, it's used for drying the car/windows without making them streaky.

inside or out?
Inside use Mr Muscle window cleaner to clean them.
Outside just wash with car shampoo and then make sure you've got windscreen washer cleaning stuff in the washer bottle under the bonnet- MAKE SURE ITS' THE CORRECT BOTTLE- don't put it in the radiator or the brake fluid- the windscreen wahser has a picture of a windscrren on it

Get down to Hal;fods or somewhere as driving with mucky windscreen is dangerous.

Someone needs to read the manual I think.

Get some Mixra from Halfords, it's great stuff for cleaning windows, spray it on then use your washer/wipers to wipe it off. It shifts muck, grease and bugs!

thanks, cant get to halfords at moment as a clio has parked close to me and there isnt enough room for me to get out. i did have a look through manual but just says i need to use a particular wash distributed by the make of my car, and doesnt have any other suggestions except to use nothing with silicone in it.

Any old windscreen wash should do in your washer bottle, tammy!
