I have a soaking wet carpet floor...

I dont have any newspaper to put down, so hows best to dry it? Should I put the heating on or open a window? Thanks. xxx

put towels down and walk on them to absorb the most of it. then put the heating on.

Towels, heating, window open. And if it's wool it'll smell like wet dog. DSs washed DS1s carpet last week with a LOT of water.

Towels?? Kitchen towel?? Ask neigbours for old newspapers?

You need to open a window as well as having the heating on or you get a lot of condensation on the windows.

and soggy newspaper isnt the easiest thing to pick up!
