.....Jessica?

It has to go with Charlotte and Eve, suit a surname starting with M (think a few of you know the surname now from Facebook)

Middle name is Rae, that's a definite as always want to be reminded of her birth and the sun RAYS streaming through trees as I was in labour etc.

Have tried Ella, Lauren and Elizabeth and all the shortenings but not for us. Tried random others but the ones I like D doesn't and visa versa.

So, what do we all think of Jess / Jessica?

Is there a better name for her out there and if so where the hell is it and why haven't I found it yet?

Can you come up with a better alternative? If not Jessica it is.

It would have been a definite for one of my boys! It is so pretty.

My Grandfather wanted me to be named Sadie (in memory of his sister who died aged 7 from measles ). My Mum vetoed it. I rather like it, but am glad I wasn't given it for life as I think it would have been odd growing up in the '70s. All the other Sadies I know are also great Aunts! But I think it's a pretty name for a little girl all the same.

I think Jessica is nicer though and I love Jess. I've always liked the name and all the Jessica's I've known have been lovely.

Emma, Emily and Anna are pretty too and would all go with Rae.

Jessica is sweet but I like Francesca more and there are less Francescas than Jessicas.
