Tarot - any experiences

Just interested to hear if anybody has had any good/bad/indifferent experiences?

tarot cards worry me....my mum and ant can read tarot and they always said I could too, but I think they can bring bad luck....no sure why...I've just always felt like that!!!

Personally, I didn't get on with using them ... I'm a runes girl, myself

My friend does them really well and has prdicted a few things that i didnt think would happen, and i have taken it up but only seem able to predict babies. In fact when i did my mums when i was a few wks pregnant it came out in that and i had been dreading telling her cos i had split up with dd's dad and i thought she'd go mental. Though i was 24 so old enough to cope. Went to see a profesional one and she predicted getting together with dp, as did my friend. Saw a clairvoyant once too and that was spooky. Are you thinking of going to see a reader or taking it up yourself nm?

I have had mine done twice, and in my experience you can get wantyou want out of it. I had a aplm reading first which described my personality and attributes really well. The tarot was good and some things came true (i moved, changed job etc) but others didn't, or haven't yet. She did tell my boyfriend (now husband) that she could see his name on rows of books like at Smiths, and he would earn a lot of money and live by an airstrip - i am still waiting!! How long shall i give him!!!

Oh and i had a crystal ball reading once but that really freaked me out. I went as i was having serious problems in my relationship, but came out doubting that i could trust anyone. Can't remember what she told me, i blocked it all out.

I have had readings in the past which were patchy some good some bad and I also own a pack of cards but have not used them in a while - don't trust my own instinct - but was thinking about having another reading. Was just interested in other people's experiences.

i was told to watch my fertility by one reader and six months later i was pregnant very unexpectedly. hmm...

I have read to others in the past and a lot of stuff worked out - but I find my colour readings (using die(sp?)) work better though. That said I haven't done it for a while . . . feeling quite tempted to start it up again.

I used to do this all the time when I was single, as my concerns were always about meeting someone. I had some really great readings, and some completely off. I think some people have good intuition, and will tell you what you want to hear.
