how do you stop jumpers bobbling?

haven't a clue cod, but would also like to know.

I'm not sure if washing them inside out is meant to help, but I'm sure I've heard it somewhere.

Wash them inside out.

Today I am waering my favourite black jumper, which I have had for about 3 or 4 years.
It doesn't have a single bobble on the outside but the inside is caked in them.

This doesn't work so well on fleecey stuff though.

not being rude of trying to kill the thread (although seem to be quite good at that) but are the bobble mostly round the arm/boob area??? caused by rubbing [smil]

buy a debobbler...

Get one of those shaver debobbly things from Johnny Lulus.

Will try the inside out washing though.

i'm sure i read somewhere that if you pop the jumper in the freezer overnight every so often this reduces bobbling

i've never tried it though (not enough room between the fishfingers)

Bobbles generally caused by washing. Wash them inside out. Wash them inside net bags. Never put towels in the same wash as jumpers (or anything else prone to bobbling eg tights etc). Or dry-clean!

But how do you prevent the boob-arm chaff bobbling? Apart from surgery that is .

my de-bobbler is great...was only a fiver
