Council house bidding

Hi just wondering if anyone has been 2nd on a list for a council house and won it? I am currently second and would love to win this house but am not very hopeful as am not first.

Hi yes this happened to me . It was a few years ago now, there are a few reasons you would get it over the first person. So don’t give up hope. It’s so horrible waiting for a response isn’t it. But fingers crossed you will get it.

Ahh thank you, yes its nerve wrecking for sure. Keep driving past the house and wishing. It closes and midnight. I was first for a day till someone else bid on it. I cant see them turning it down as a brand new house that's the thing.
