Question for the finanical advisers out there?

Can you get very short term life assurance. Dh is planning to take a break fo a few weeks between jobs, but presumably won't be covered by Death in Service during this period. Can we buy a one month policy or something for this period?

I guess that might work. Presumably to go with someone direct as the commission won't be an issue then? Is there a usual limit ont he amount that you can take out?
