Hermes... Anyone had this problem?

I'm waiting for 3 parcels from different places. I have had emails from all 3 to say Hermes will be delivering them. Received emails for them and used the tracking on Hermes it says parcels will be delivered between 1 and 3 still saying this now. I've been in all day and they haven't arrived. Anyone know why this could be please?

If I know a company uses Hermes to deliver I avoid them like the plague, in my experience they have a terrible reputation

They did this to my pal and tried to say they’d delivered it but she was out. When she wasn’t. Awful company.

Check round the outside of your house. I was recently due a Hermes delivery and happened to go round the side of my house to bring the wheelie bins in. My parcel, clearly labelled Fragile, had been dropped over my side gate and left in the rain. I don't even know how long it had been there. I'd had no knock or card through the door.

Never ever had any problems with them, the same lady always delivers to my home so I'm assuming the service must be dependent on the driver, I have had this happen before with other couriers though and the delivery was re scheduled the following day

Hermes gets a bad reputation but in my area they are fab and the local driver does a great job!

Did parcels turn up?

Sorry I thought this was posted a while ago! There's still time. Often drivers work well into the evening

Thank you all for the replies. Neighbours either side of me, they haven't taken anything I've knocked and asked.
Suppose I'll just have to wait and hope they arrive.
I can't phone Hermes helpline as they close at 4, will phone 8.30 in the morning.

Hermes are dreadful. I've had them throw a box of lightbulbs over my gate, deliver to my neighbours and not leave me a card and only today they left my parcel on my doorstep despite it being small enough to fit through my letterbox

You'll wait in all day and then the tracking will say they couldn't deliver, you weren't in, there's a problem with the address etc etc. They will also say the delivery driver has left a card. All of it will be bullshit.

Our Hermes courier is brilliant. If we're not in he leaves a note and leaves the parcel in a safe place. He's an exception,previous couriers were awful. I ordered my husband a present for his birthday (September) parcel didn't arrive, although online it showed it was delivered. There was a lot to and fro in the end we got our money back. This year in March went to the storage box in the garden to get some seeds and found a parcel at the bottom of the box. Yep, DH present.

Oh wow I'm not holding much hope in receiving them.
For a refund do I ask Hermes or the companies they're being delivered from? It's over £300 worth with all parcels.

Happened to me with a parcel from Asos ....contacted Asos who sent me out a replacement and said they would make enquires. Then after a while (can’t remember how long exactly) the missing parcel was posted through my postbox, it had been opened and resealed

Oh sorry op I just read again. Mine said it had been delivered when it definitely hadn’t
