I have just had the most awful experience with airbnb and my question is whether to leave a review or feedback, or just leave it?
I diligently check every review both on trip advisor and on airbnb to help me decide on whether to book etc. So when I researched this place, the brilliant reviews gave me confidence. They were outstanding. The house was expensive well over 1000 for a weekend, but when we arrived it was appalling!
*Three large and very bright puddles of dogs' urine in the bedrooms, the bedroom smelt awful it was obvious what it was immediately
*Stains and cigarette burns on every carpet
*large Pee stains all around the loo, the bathrooms stank of stale urine
*Every wall and skirting was chipped, stained and scruffy
*The stairs to the garden were deathtrap and were cracked and in places completely missing.
Should I post a review to warn others? The owner is refunding me, but importantly has told me they can't do anything because the place is fully booked to the end of the year apparently. I feel really sorry for families arriving there, it is truly awful and disgusting. We kept our coats and shoes on and left immediately (10 hours driving in total)
It is our first time using airbnb so I am unsure what to do...
