Suitcase sized gift ideas for DDs 8th birthday

Hi guys

I'm wondering if any of you can offer some suggestions of birthday gift ideas for my daughter? She will be 8 in a few weeks whilst we are on holiday in Turkey with family. Due to this the gifts must be compact enough to travel with which has left me a bit limited in terms of ideas. What do your girls love? Any suggestions welcome!

How about tickets to an attraction (depending on where you live)? My dd age 8 loved dry slope skiing lessons Harry Potter studios.

A lot of her friends liked getting their own kids Fitbit type thing or a refurbished iPhone to use on wifi at home with a trendy case.

Or how about a travel edition of a board game, a Smiggle voucher to spend online.

Maybe something she could use straightaway? Like a new swimsuit, or some fun coloured pens to write postcards to grandparents and friends, or a game you could play in the evening. Dobble would work well: it comes in a tin so nice and easy to put away and easy to learn. There are a couple of themed versions as well (Disney and Harry Potter off the top of my head).

I'd never heard of Dobble and had been looking for a surprise present for DS for his 10th birthday this week and this fits the bill, thanks!

Thanks for your suggestions! Harry Potter world is our back up plan should any last minute air-bridge changes happen, so love this idea as we can go another time if we still get our holiday!

All of the other ideas are great too, gives me something to look into today on my day off - much appreciated! 🙂

Xx

Was also going to suggest things she can use there.

New dress and flip flops to wear out that evening?

Fun beach towel

Swimsuit

Love the day out idea

Card game? Ds and I play lots of games on holiday. So uno or dobble that sort of thing.

Colouring/drawing book and glitter or smelly smell pens?

What about tickets to an attraction whilst on holiday?
When ds and I went to Spain the day after his birthday once I took him to water park for his birthday, bites the rings, we ate in restaurant there, got the novaculite photo - the full works!
