Stupid Neighbours!

I am so angry! My next door neighbours (who are students) played LOUD trance music until 6.30 this morning! They only stopped when I went round and asked them to stop!

They kept us all up basically all night, so now my DD is tired and crabby, and I am shattered.

How annoying - I'd have been round there a lot earlier though - if that had failed, I'd have called environmental health and have had to do so in the past. Does this happen often?

They only moved in in September, so I hope this is a one off incident. I assume they were having a party, and we are pretty understanding about the fact that they are students, but I think loud music after 2 is completely unacceptable. Next time I will be ringing environmental health.

If this does carry on Jen - Make a diary of times and dates etc - this is something the EH will ask you to do. Firstly they will send a letter, but if that doesn't help, they'll need details and proof (will lend you something to record noise on), before they can act further. hopefully though it will be a one off party and you'll have nothing else to worry about.
