dd hates having hair washed as i lay her back as i have since she was tiny, have been looking for one of those shampoo shield thingys, saw one on tv recently...looked like a foam/neoprene upside down visor, but have no idea even what to put in search engine! does anyone know where i can get one?

Hmmm - tried similar one of these(not neoprene but plasticy with elastic) - was absolutely useless, kept slipping down and dd hated having it on her anyway (despite hating her hair washed even more)

must have been on some american programme or something, just thought it looked good?

Get her to look up at the ceiling of the bath room and tell you all the things she can imagine are up there, you suggest things...spiders, vampires big green monsters...then she will go on and you go "OOOOHHHHH really" etc while tipping a cup of water gently over her head...shes got her head tipped up and doesnt even notice.
Those things are rubbish.

EvesMama · 16/10/2004 21:05

nope, tried that, she doesnt fall for it!

gltc?

KangaMummy · 16/10/2004 21:15

my mum always used a fold up flannel for us to hold over our eyes and lie back.

what about swimming goggles over the eyes with the suction holding them on but ot the headband as hair get in the way?

Are those hair things in GLTC?

EvesMama · 16/10/2004 21:16

what was that codswallop?dnot up to speed on all these abbreviations?

OP posts:
EvesMama · 16/10/2004 21:17

shes just 17 months so holding goggles or flannels would probably not work, whats this gltc everyones talking about?

Hulababy · 16/10/2004 21:19

GLTC - is great little trading company. They have a website.

WE got one of these from PP for DD, but have to agree that they just didn't work for us.
