Ds has just ripped a huge piece of wallpaper from his bedroom wall. He must have been piggling the paper next to his bed. I've just spent an hour and a half trying to stick it all back together. It's like a flaming jigsaw. Tonight I'm not a happy bunny!!!!

I wouldn't bother trying to stick it all back together woodpops.

He'll only rip it back off tomorrow ...

Stick a poster of Thomas the Tank Engine over it - it will be fine !

PS: I like the 'piggling the paper' reference !

Oh God don't say that. Dh is cancelling Santa at the moment. He's furious. It was such a nice bedroom. I'm going to have to hunt tomorrow and see if we have any of the paper left.

that's kids for you just be grateful it wasn't your sitting room

woodpops · 18/10/2004 15:15

Well, he didn't pull it off the wall again, thank God. Just keeps telling me he was naughty to do it and that he won't do it again. I think dh threatening to cancel santa did the job. A bit cruel I know but who doesn't threaten their kids with canceling santa when they're naughty!!!!

Twinkie · 18/10/2004 15:21

Tried it but apparently he comes anyway - it just happens thats christmas according to DD you just get less if you are naughty!! (mind you she may be pretentious but is rarely naughty!!)

woodpops · 18/10/2004 15:25

Swap you twinkie. My dd not even 2 yet is a little madam. Ds is rarely naughty but when he is he is. IYKWIM.

No wouldn't swap her for the world - she is a complete treasure - although am thinking this DS is probably going to be devils spawn just to get me back for being so smug and having such a well behaved child for the last 4 years!!

woodpops · 18/10/2004 15:48

I think dd problem is there's only 16 months between her and ds and she gets frustrated when she can't do what he does. Who'd have them so close eigh?? But I wouldn't change either of them for the world!!!
