well I finally left work today after sixteen plus years to be a SAHM to my little angels(will I still be saying that in six months) of 18 months and 2.9. I have been trying to make the decision since ds was born and have finally taken the plunge. I m really looking fwd to chatting to like minded adults on here cos i think that is the one thing i will rally miss about the work environment. any others out there who have recently made a similar decision?

Me, too, and I love it!

granarybeck · 04/10/2007 20:51

Do it for as long as you can! I stayed at home (and studied) when my two were little and now they're older (9 and 10) I still find it tough working and missing out on them, would love to be able to afford to pack it all in! Good luck to you, hope you enjoy it

You will have days when you want to rock in a corner, and work seems much more appealing, but the good days outweigh the bad

When I went into work today it reminded me why I like being at home so much.
