Hi, my yahoo email used to let me send messages as texts - not sure if it costs anything or if they still do it - never used it!!

cardboard fish let you from the computer so it's dead easy to type. but only so many characters. You also have about 5 pop ups thrown at you but thats not a problem

I used to be able to text from 02's website (must have an 02 sim) - haven't tried for ages though...Wouldn't MSN Messenger let you send instant messages to his phone?
