Moan about moving house/estate agents

Sorry I'm just having a moan about moving house etc anyone want to join me?

We have had our 2 bed flat on the market for about 8 weeks and have had only 2 viewers and no offers. It is really stressing me out as we are so cramped living here. DD hates her crib but there is no space for a cot so she is in with us at the moment (doesn't bother me too much).

I am due to go back to work end of January but am thinking of delaying until April as we would have to find a childminder in this area plus one in the new area we want to move to. I'm driving myself mad by looking at houses on the internet in the new area but we cannot go to see them as we need an offer on this place first. All this and I also stressing about how much the move will cost approx 6K!!!

I'll join you,

We are also in a 2 bed flat and want to move. Took us ages to have the courage to go ahead with everything and we've only had 1 viewer in 3 weeks. Have kind of found a nice place to move too as well. It's hard keeping the place tidy in case we get a viewing.

I know it's annoying when you tidy the place up etc and then they cancel at the last minute

I also found a nice place online tonight

Can I join in? House has been on market for 6 weeks and some viewings (more at beginning) but no offers

And we've seen a house we love and the people selling it have been in touch with estate agents and they would like to sell it to us, but we need to sell our house.

We are changing estate agents...hope it does some good.
Probably a good thing we haven't had a viewings lately as house is a mess

Have you got feedback from your agent, are they pushing your flat enough?? From my experiences have found you really need to be on their case. Totally understand the stress, moved when ds was 10 weeks old and dd was 2yrs, like you desperate for space as we were in a 2 bed hse but no parking, used to park in the next street and drag 2 kids and bags round the corner.

Have chased the estate agents and they came and took some internal pics today (more tidying up).

dh is an estate agent, so have insight into this. He drove our agent bananas when we moved last yr. Have all the negotiators in the office seen your flat so they know all its positives to tell potential purchasers?? If you dont feel confident agent is pushing your property enough, look at other agents. If you get desperate offer the negotiator that sells your flat a little bung, always makes then work that bit harder (but you didnt hear it here)

thanks for the advice it's the first time I have sold a property so am a complete novice. I'm so inpatient I want to move NOW! Think I will phone them every few days and annoy them so they will be glad when they sell it!
