A question about wills

I received my draft this morning (how depressing!) and have a question as I have changed my mind about some of the aspects of my will.

In the event of my death, my "estate" will go to my dd and any other children I may have at the time, but I didn't know who to put if say my children went with me (terribly depressing ) so I just said to put my siblings down, as I werent sure who else to put, and I was just wondering what have other people put? Im not completely happy with my sister being down u c.

It can be anyone at all who you WANT it to go to - family, friends, a charity, anyone.

Speak to your solictor for other suggestions and to talk through your ideas.

I do have grandchildren included in it if say dd past away before i did and she had children by that time too. I did think of that secur, that I wont be around when she finds out lol. I had to put her as my exectutor as i needed two people, one being my mum (although if she passes away before me then ill have to think of someone else. hopefully ill have more friends by that point lol) I did want to put dp but when i asked him he felt funny about it as he was afraid it would offend my family.

In the event of me, dh and the boys all dying at once we each have clauses in our wills dividing up the pot - a certain percentage goes to each of our siblings, some goes to charities, and we also have a friend who gets a percentage. It doesn't all have to go to one place, and in this way you can give something to your sister, but not necessarily everything.
