Anyone with Virgin? Connection probs tonight?

Is anyone else having problems with their Virgin internet this evening?

I can get some sites, my bank, MN (thank goodness!), facebook. But it won't let me into ebay, virgins home page or runescape (for the kids honest).

Done the usual switching on and off and re-booting eveything.

Anyone else having problems?

I'm with Virgin too but haven't encountered any problems yet today!

I started a thread this afternoon about exactly the same thing. We couldn't access our email, any of the virgin pages, it wouldn't let us on BBC News which we ahve as our home page. Some things, like MN, Amazon etc I got onto no problem, others were taking forever to access.
thread here. I switched off the PC, unplugged the modem cable from the phone line for a couple of minutes, then plugged it in again and restarted the PC. Still a bit slow but I ahve email back etc

mine seems to be OK.

I did have huge problems with them a few months ago and they kept telling me it was service upgrades in the area. It actually turned out to be a weak signal coming into the house due to a cable fault, but hadn't bothered to check my connection the first six times I phoned....

I'm with Virgin and I have been on Ebay tonight. I think they're doing a lot of updating atm, had a letter about it during th week, it could be that.
