Hi I’m just wanting a little more info
So me and my partner have decided to split...
I said I would leave with our son and move into my mams as she has the spare rooms and for him to stay as he has no where else to go and sees his other children regularly.
I’m just wondering if I have worked this out properly if anyone could help.
So me and my now ex are both on the tenancy agreement (private rented)
On his claim he would be entitled to £698.84
Shared accommodation rates as he’s under 35- £288.95
Plus standard allowance of £409.89 (over 25)
He was asking if he would get anything else or just this plus his work income
( we know about deductions on his uc with claiming etc)
Also what would he be allowed to earn without it affecting his claim or would it just stay the same as what it would be when we were claiming together? Also would they give him his full 100% housing as I read up about something about an untidy tenancy? That sometimes the landlord won’t change it to a single tenancy or would me getting put on my mams tenancy prove that I’m no longer there and give him the 100% of housing allowance ( ringing the landlord tomorrow to tell her I’m no longer living there as of tonight)
And my claim £578.55
Under 25 standard allowance £342.72
1 child (15 months old)- £235.83
Would I need to apply for half the rent with me being on her tenancy and there being 2 separate claims in that household ( to add she’s in a council house) or would everything stay the same for her and I just get my separate claim
I’m not currently working and neither is my mam but she is due to start work this week or next she’s just waiting to hear back off them.
Also with her working will this affect my money or would it stay the same with me being a non dependant and having a child under 5?
