eBay cock up advice?

Hi guys,

I have sold a few items recently on eBay and I think I have made a massive cock up with the delivery.

The buyer paid £1.64 for p&p (as set advised by EBay)

When I went to print the label I didn't amend the weight of the package. (My fault completely trying to multi task looking after a whingey toddler at the same time)

As such I paid £1.15 for the packaging label.
I've taken it to the post office and it's been posted.

It then occurred to me that I hadn't inputted anywhere the weight of the package. I've done a bit of rechecking and have realised my error.

I'm now worried that the buyers are now going to have to pay (Again) for the difference between what I paid for delivery vs the actual cost of delivery.

It's made me really upset to think that this is going to happen, so I am considering contacting the buyers and refunding them the whole p&p before this happens. Then if they have to pay the difference to receive the package it should hopefully be covered by the amount I've refunded them?

Thoughts? Please be kind I know I'm an idiot!!

I think send them a message to explain and refund the p&p. This is more than reasonable
