At what age do kids stop sending them ? I make ds(9) and dd(6) do theirs each time but it occurs to me that the last 2 b'day parties ds has been to have n't sent one (not that he's noticed). Obviously with large, all class, parties it is more difficult but these were more selective in numbers.

Just sitting at table with dd1 doing hers (she's 6). It's very but absolutely necessary IMHO. WE certainly don't get that many back for all the presents we give out and I don't get my arse in my hand about it, but it's something I think is important so we do them.
